Obiettivi formativi
The teaching contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the study in Scienze del Corpo e della Mente by providing students with the keys to understanding the development of intersubjectivity, essential for interpersonal relationships and interactions between the individuals and their social environment. Knowledge about the origins and stages of development of understanding one's own mind and that of others is necessary both for knowledge and intervention in childhood and for a full understanding of adult clinical pictures.
L’insegnamento concorre alla realizzazione dell’obiettivo formativo del corso di studi in Scienze del Corpo e della Mente fornendo agli studenti le chiavi di lettura sullo sviluppo dell'intersoggettività, indispensabili per comprendere le relazioni interpersonali e le interazioni tra l’individuo e il suo ambiente sociale. La conoscenza delle origini e delle fasi dello sviluppo della comprensione della mente propria e altrui è necessaria non solo per la conoscenza e l'intervento nell'infanzia, ma anche per la piena comprensione dei quadri clinici adulti.

Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, the student has to:
- Recognize the epistemological issues underlying the theory and research in developmental psychology
- Describe the main paradigms of developmental psychology
- Identify the main processes that govern the typical and atypical development of intersubjectivity
- Describe the main research techniques that can be used in intersubjectivity research
- Describe the most recent tools for evaluating intersubjectivity
Autonomous judgment
At the end of the course, the student has to be able to:
- Interpret the empirical data emerging from the research on intersubjectivity
- Compare the perspectives on the development from the main theoretical paradigms
- Be oriented in the complexity of the different theoretical paradigms
Communication skills
At the end of the course, the student has to be able to:
- Use the technical language of the developmental psychology, particularly in relation to the study of intersubjectivity
Use of knowledge
At the end of the course, the student has to be able to:
- Use the acquired knowledge for the evaluation of intersubjectivity in typical and atypical development
Learning ability
At the end of the course, the student has to be able to:
- know the main research theories and methodologies, to be oriented in the scientific panorama about the development of intersubjectivity, so as to be able to critically integrate further knowledge that will encounter in the professional life

Alla fine dell’insegnamento lo studente dovrà:
- Riconoscere le questioni epistemologiche alla base della teoria e della ricerca in psicologia dello sviluppo
- Descrivere i principali paradigmi della psicologia dello sviluppo
- Individuare i principali processi che governano lo sviluppo tipico e atipico dell’intersoggettività
- Descrivere le principali tecniche di ricerca utilizzabili nella ricerca sull'intersoggettività
- Descrivere i più recenti strumenti di valutazione dell'intersoggettività
Autonomia di giudizio
Alla fine dell’insegnamento lo studente dovrà sapere:
- Interpretare i dati empirici emersi dalle ricerche sull'intersoggettività
- Confrontare le prospettive sullo sviluppo da parte dei principali paradigmi teorici
- Orientarsi nella complessità dei diversi paradigmi teorici
Abilità comunicative
Alla fine dell’insegnamento lo studente dovrà sapere:
- Utilizzare il linguaggio tecnico della psicologia dello sviluppo, in particolare in relazione allo studio dell'intersoggettività
Utilizzo delle conoscenze
Alla fine dell’insegnamento lo studente dovrà sapere:
- Utilizzare le conoscenze acquisite per la valutazione dell'intersoggettività nello sviluppo tipico e atipico
Capacità di apprendimento
Alla fine dell’insegnamento lo studente dovrà sapere:
- conoscere le principali teorie e metodologie di ricerca, per orientarsi nel panorama scientifico relativo allo sviluppo dell'intersoggettività, così da poter integrare criticamente le successive conoscenze che incontrerà nel percorso professionale.

Distance examination will be granted during the academic year 2020-21.
The students will pass an oral exam to prove the acquisition of the requested skills.
The students should be able to show their knowledge about:
- the main theoretical models used in the study of developmental psychology, and specifically in the study of intersubjectivity
- the methods
- the steps in the development
- the knowledge about the tools to evaluate intersubjectivity.
Ongoing exams during the course are not envisaged.

L'accertamento della preparazione dello studente avverrà in forma orale e sarà volta ad accertare che lo studente dimostri di conoscere:
- i principali modelli teorici utilizzati nello studio dello sviluppo umano e, specificamente, nello studio dell'intersoggettività
- i metodi utilizzati
- le tappe dello sviluppo dell'intersoggettività
- gli strumenti che ne permettono la valutazione
