Ogni domanda errata corrisponde a 0 punti. Non è prevista la prova orale.

L'esecuzione del quiz è informatizzata e verrà eseguita presso l'auletta informatica.

IMPORTANTE: per accedere all'esame è necessario

elearning.scienzenatura@unito.it

Modalità esami a distanza (COVID 19)

The examination consists of a written test (closed questions) comprising 31 questions, the mark corresponding to the number of correct questions +2 points. A mark above 30 corresponds to 30 with distinction. Each correct question corresponds to one point. Each incorrect question corresponds to 0 points. There is no oral test.

The quiz is computerised and will be held in the computer room.

IMPORTANT: in order to take the exam you must

1) Registration on the course's e-learning site (moodle) and downloading of the course material.

If students are unable to access the Psychology Department's e-learning site (e.g. students from other CDLs are unable to see the Psychology Moodle site) they should contact

elearning.scienzenatura@unito.it

and ask to be added to the list of students with access. This is the only way to obtain this access; contacting the Lecturer or the Student Secretariat for this purpose is not useful.

2) Registration for the call to be carried out before going to the examination venue.

3) be in possession of SCU credentials (the user and password needed to access the United Portal).

4) Not having already taken the exam in the same session.

Online examinations (COVID 19)

The online mode involves a multiple-choice test that can be taken online at your home. The grade for this exam can then be directly recorded. This online exam is shorter than the standard exam and can be taken at home independently. It consists of 20 multiple-choice quiz questions that can be taken in 10 minutes. The assessment of the exam will take into account the shortness of the test and the consequent greater difficulty by means of a positive compensation of the marks so that the average and standard deviation of the marks obtained so far in the non-telematic mode are equal to those of the telematic mode.

Procedures for taking the examination

Register for the exam scheduled for the date chosen so that it can be recorded. Use the same registration method as for other exams.

15 minutes before the exam, access www.unito.it from your home computer, log in and access the course page on Moodle. At the bottom of the page and/or on the "dashboard" page from the start time of the exam you will see the words "you have a quiz to take".

Click on the wording and proceed by accepting the choices proposed by the site.

Each correct answer is worth +1, errors and questions left unanswered are worth 0 points each. In order to prevent people taking the test from bothering each other for help on how to answer certain questions, the presentation of questions will be randomised and the time allowed for entering your answers will be tight. That is, different people will have to answer different questions (but deemed equivalent in terms of difficulty) and the order in which the questions are presented will be randomised for each individual. It is not possible to go back once an answer has been entered.  In total, the test for the examination will last 10 minutes with a total of 20 questions). The exemption will be taken simultaneously by all students who wish to take it.

Possible technical problems during the test.

As this is an online timed test, it is possible that someone may have technical problems and not be able to log on in time, or for some reason be unable to take the test in its entirety (e.g. some questions are skipped or presented too briefly) or take it in less than ideal conditions. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to provide alternative solutions for students who experience such problems. This also applies to the 'standard' examination.

Therefore, should the outcome of the exemption be adversely affected by such unforeseen circumstances, the only option available to the student will be to decline the exemption grade and take the standard examination instead.

Be careful not to leave the quiz page, perhaps to read an email or search for something on the Internet: the system recognises this and assigns the grade obtained at that time.
