Obiettivi formativi

The main objective of the 32-hour module is to deepen the study of brain plasticity, learning, and motivation phenomena. Special attention will be dedicated to learning processes (examined from both a behavioral and neurophysiological perspective) and factors that can promote it, such as individuals' intrinsic motivation.

Oggetto:

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

Provide students with advanced knowledge regarding brain plasticity and learning phenomena, encouraging their ability to critically evaluate the topics addressed.

Oggetto:

Programma

  • What is brain plasticity and how it can be observed and measured
  • Analysis techniques (behavioral and electrophysiological) of learning and memory processes.
  • Promoting plasticity and learning: the importance of intrinsic motivation.
  • Subjective aesthetic preferences as a tool to enhance learning and intrinsic motivation.

Modalità di insegnamento

The class (32 hours) is composed of in-person frontal lectures.

Oggetto:

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Oral (verbalizing) exam at the end of the course.

The exam material will consist of the slides and materials provided by the professors during the course, plus 3 scientific articles (suggested during the class).
